Cone Beam Computer Tomography (CBCT) enables us to more accurately diagnose sinus problems, TMJ problems, root canal problems, and to plan the placement of dental implants.
Dental CBCT provides 3D imaging of the maxillofacial region to explore the areas of interest for treatment planning.
CBCT gives us the capability of viewing your jaw, sinuses and related structures in three dimensions. The machine produces many images that are reassembled by computer to produce a complete picture.
Commonly used for dental implant planning, the CBCT yields valuable information. The scan accurately shows the alveolar ridge width and height and bone density. When using the CBCT, we can identify anatomic features with precision and localize defects to help you decide before the surgery, if, for example bone grafting will be necessary. CBCT offers critical information for determining the appropriate emergence profile and positioning of implants.
